Tiffany lamp is made by tiffany glass and zinc-alloy lampbase. Tiffany-style lamps, many of them replicas of original Louis Comfort Tiffany designs, hang from the ceiling or stand on tables or the floor. The elaborate shades, made of dozens, sometimes hundreds of pieces of glass - nearly always luminous opalescent art glass - feature such things as wisteria or lotus flowers, cherry blossoms or clusters of purple grapes.
